The strong demand for Australian resources and the weakening of the US dollar has meant a significant drop in prices for prospective snow tourists to the USA this ski season.
Their might be enough Aussies already hogging the fresh snow and bar lines but ski operators Ski Max have announced that they’re passing on the 92cents to 1 US dollar savings on to their customers.
Package deals to ski at South Lake Tahoe start at AUD$699 for 7 nights accommodation with a 6 day lift pass included. A package deal to ski Aspen for a week is going for $1169 which includes accommodation, ski passes, and breakfast. For the same price Ski Max are also offering a similar deal to stay at Park City, Utah.
All in all, these deals are shaping up pretty favourably for Australians. Of course, flight costs aren’t included.

Yeah sweet deals on offer at the moment for us Aussies! Too bad that the Yen is holding on so strongly for those wishing to go to Japan for Hakuba and Niseko holidays. Still great value deals on offer though at http://www.ski-resorts-japan.com for those interested in a little ‘Japanese Flavour’ to their holiday, it’s not all sushi and sumos, Hakuba gets at least 13m of fresh snow a season, on a 2m base! Nice fresh Pow!
