As the Southern Hemisphere laps up the last of the melting snow, Grand Targhee in the US of A gets an absolute pounding of October snow. And winter begins again.
Overnight the resort saw at least 14 inches of snow fall across the resort. While it looks like the resort isn’t scheduled to open until November 27 it looks like locals are dusting off their rock skis and heading up and around the Tetons to get their first turns of the winter in.
Here’s some pictures of the dump courtesy of the resort. As the cowboys in Wyoming would say, “Yeahhaaawww”.
To keep up to date on Grand Targhee’s opening dates keep a close eye on their Website or follow them via Twitter or Facebook.
