Thredbo have announced they’ll introduce a ‘Monster Bagjump’ this winter for riders to practice their freestyle moves.
The first in Australia, the 20 metre x 20 metre air filled cushion will sit behind a kicker for intermediate and advanced riders to try their tricks in safety.
However, before thinking about executing that new spread eagle, double backflip trick you’ve been dreaming about all summer, Thredbo are requiring all participants to first complete the Bagjump Safety Clinic. Once complete, Flight Passes can be purchased on a per-day basis.
No mention of prices are available at the time of writing.
Sydney skaters might recognise the bag, in the summer months the bagjump resides at the Monstor Skate Park at Sydney Olympic Park.
Where: Tucked into a loop near the Rossignol Race Course, just off the Supertrail. Riders on the Kosciuszko Express chairlift will see all the action.
When: July – September in Thredbo. And in the summer months at the Monster Skate Park at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush
