Top 10 Ski Resorts in North America?

A travel booking company have just released their top 10 list of ski resorts to visit in North America this 2009-2010 Winter season. We’re a little surprised by the results.

We’re not exactly sure of the science behind this list but according to a release by Away.com their editorial team selected their resorts based on research and opinions of their writers and contributors. Coming in at number one was Wyoming’s Jackson Hole Ski Resort because it offers “some of the most challenging terrain in the Lower 48, along with a convivial small town and the iconic silhouettes of the Teton Range.”

In at number two was Utah’s Alta because it’s a “snowball’s throw away from bustling Salt Lake City”, followed by 2010 Olympic host Whistler.
