Sitting in your office cubicle thinking about snow or gazing up at the mountains and waiting for the lifts to just start already? Well here are some shots from pre-season Whistler to get you in the mood.
We’re glad we looked in our SPAM e-mail box today because the good folks at Whistler Ski Resort sent us some pictures of the early season snow they’ve been getting. It was just the right time, too because we were sitting in our urban office overlooking one of the most miserable, grey, cold, snowless views you could imagine.
According to the resort there was 108cm (42 inches) of new snow at Whistler last week with another half a metre more expected this week. While lifts are expected to open November 14 a few lucky people were allowed to ‘test’ the fresh snow and rip up the deep and untouched snow.
