iTrailMap, a new iPhone application can store more than 650 resort trail maps in your pocket. Is this a move away from paper trail maps and into the digital age of skiing and snowboarding?

If you’re a cool and hip person with an iPhone then you may want to check out the new free app released by snowreports.co.nz.
The application includes weather, road conditions, lifts open, snow depth, new snow, wind and temperature. To get the app you’ll need to visit Apple’s iTunes store. You can get it either via iTunes on your computer or directly from the App store on your iPhone or ipod Touch.
Now you don’t even need to get out of bed to check the Kiwi weather conditions.
The free SnowReports can be found here.
And if you don’t have an iPhone, then try this for other popular phones.
